Ignite Summer Camp is designed for high schoolers to make awesome, real friendships. Where possible, it's great for parishes to send a group of teenagers together with a leader. In the past this has shown to be valuable for the camp experience and has produced ongoing fruit for those groups when they return home.
Many teenagers have had their life changing experiences after being encouraged to attend this camp by someone at their parish or school. If there is a young person in your parish or life who would benefit from this experience, we encourage you to invite them, and perhaps bless them with full or partial sponsorship, if you are in a position to do so.
Ignite Summer Camp is run by a team of experienced and emerging Catholic leaders. Each leader is required to hold a 'blue card' for working with children, and have a background in youth ministry or similar experience to their role at Ignite Summer camp, and are also required to attend compulsory training before the camp.
Group leader's if you would like more promotional material or have questions about registering, please contact the Ignite Youth office on (07) 3217 5199 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
